About Me
Hi, I'm Marty! I'm a retired teacher and a proud mom of three, and excited to soon become a grandmother for the very first time. Throughout my years in education, I wore many hats, but one constant was my love for teaching art. Whether I was in the classroom or helping bring creative projects to life around the school, I found so much joy in encouraging creativity in others.
I've always considered myself a crafty person, and retirement has given me the opportunity to fully explore my own artistic journey. I enjoy experimenting with a variety of mediums, learning new techniques, and discovering my own unique style with every piece I create. For me, art is a lifelong process of learning, growing, and finding beauty in the world around me.
One of my greatest sources of inspiration is nature and the places my family and I have visited throughout the years. I love capturing special moments through photography while we travel, and many of those photographs become the inspiration behind my paintings. Each piece is my way of preserving a memory and sharing the beauty I experienced with others.
